Before joining Bender, Hinad worked as a sales engineer at an electrical engineering firm specializing in power system studies. There, he worked on identifying and providing reliable solutions for technical issues to customers.
At Bender, he oversees the hospital business unit for Canada and spearheads the Bender consultant strategy. He schedules meetings with consultants to provide them with comprehensive insights into Bender and the most up-to-date alterations in code requirements about ground fault monitoring. Hinad also actively engages with consultants, striving to not only secure Bender's inclusion in their project specifications but also to lend his expertise in crafting tailored ground-fault monitoring systems to meet the specific needs of their projects.
Hinad says he is drawn to Bender's company culture, characterized by strong teamwork, a focus on innovation, and a commitment to personal growth. The emphasis on collaboration, the encouragement of innovative thinking, and the support for professional development make it an inspiring and motivating environment.
Hinad enjoys playing video games, participating in and watching sports (Go Toronto Blue Jays!), and trying new activities in his spare time.
His favorite Bender product is the LINETRAXX RCMS490-D. He says, "This is because this product may seem simpler compared to our other options, its ability to isolate and showcase different frequencies of ground faults has proven to be extremely valuable. I worked on a project where, without the cut-off frequency feature of the RCMS, the customer's equipment would have experienced continuous nuisance tripping. Thanks to our product, we were not only able to meet code requirements but also provide a safe solution for both personnel and equipment."
